Staff Development Fund

The Memorandum of Agreement was approved by our members at the September 27, 2017 General Assembly. However, there are no details until the Joint Staff Development Fund Committee has a chance to meet and review the guidelines for 2017/18; 2018/19 and 2019/20. The joint committee is scheduled to meet at the end of October. Once the information is available, it will be posted here. If you have sent in an application form, you will be contacted directly by email.

As per a Letter of Understanding in the Teachers' Collective Agreement (September 1, 2012 to August 31, 2017 (extended)), the District committed to the establishment of a Staff Development Fund for 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17 to enable teachers to access funds to support costs incurred in professional development activities or resources related to their individual professional growth plans. A description of the application process and guidelines, as well as application forms are available below. For more information contact the Local's office at 780-455-2164.
