Did you miss the session that was held on January 18th with Gail-Ann Wilson and Janice Pinnock? Speaker session: Teaching Black History in Culturally Responsive Ways. No matter what subject you teach, there are ways you can infuse Black history into your daily lessons in a way that is insightful and purposeful. The session will explore pedagogical understandings of anti-racism and Black history to prepare and inspire your classroom content. The session was recorded and will be available until February 18th. The DEHR committee is hosting a book study and group discussion on the book Deep Diversity: A Compassionate, Scientific Approach to Achieving Racial Justice by Shakil Choudhury on February 24th and April 5th, 4:30 to 6:00 pm.
